NTA Enugu Appoints New Public Relations Officer

The Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Enugu Network Centre, has appointed Dr. Okorie Chika Ruth as its new Public Relations Officer, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen communication and deepen public engagement across the region.

Dr. Okorie, an experienced broadcaster and communication scholar, currently serves as News Manager and holds a Doctorate degree in Mass Communication with a specialization in Advertising. Her career spans several NTA stations, including Ebonyi and Abia States, before her deployment to Enugu less than a year ago.

As the new PRO, she is expected to coordinate the public image of NTA Enugu, enhance media relations, and promote initiatives that will boost interaction with audiences within and beyond the South-East. She also makes history as the first staff of Ebonyi State origin to officially occupy the role since the establishment of the network centre.

According to a statement signed by Patrick Iro, Zonal Director, NTA Enugu Network Centre, management is confident that Dr. Okorie’s wealth of experience and professional commitment will further advance the station’s organizational goals. The statement also congratulated her on the appointment and wished her success in her new role.
