83rd Birthday: Ebonyi APC Boss Celebrates His Excellency; Pours Encomium
The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ebonyi State Chapter, Hon Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha has joined millions of people to recount some achievements of the former Governor Martin Elechi in the state as he marks his 83rd birthday anniversary.
The APC Boss encomium was contained in his goodwill message to the former Governor whose birthday was in February but Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru chose to officially celebrate it on Tuesday the 2nd of April in a grand style as a mark of state honour.
The message he personally signed read thus;
“I, the Ebony State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha humbly convey warm felicitations to the 2nd Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Chief Martin Elechi on your 83rd birthday anniversary.
Your Excellency, when you superintended over the affairs of the state between 2007 and 2015, your Attitudinal Change policy remodelled, transformed and repositioned the people as reference points of distinction on every fascinating and adorable view. The policy gave rise to the popular slogan ‘Ocheudo Time’ which instilled discipline and prudence in government activities and among the people.
Apart from the outstanding role your Excellency played in the creation of Ebony State, the unity bridges your administration constructed in all the nooks and crannies of state helped to link up communities hitherto cut off by water bodies. The project sporadically increased the economic base of the people because movement of people, goods and services became a lot easier and faster.
Your love for education led to the enormous investment your leadership entrusted to Ebonyi people hence many Ebonyi students won so many laurels and came to stardom at that time.
Your Excellency, the former Governor, although having served meticulously well during your time, your immeasurable contributions to the success of the present administration in the state is nothing compared to the place of oxygen in human existence.
As I join millions to celebrate a legendary hero, former Governor Martin Elechi, let me also cease this privilege to appreciate our cerebral Executive Governor, His Excellency, Right Honourable Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for recognising and always honouring your indelible impressions on the sands of time.
