Abia Assembly: YPP Members Defect To LP
The only two members of Young Progressives Party (YPP) representing Osisioma North Constituency, Iheanaocho Nwogu Osisioma South Constituency, Onyekachi Alwama have defected to the Labour Party during legislative proceedings in the hallowed chamber of the Abia State House of Assembly.
This was made known through a correspondence they wrote and was read by the Speaker of the Assembly, Chief Emmanuel Emeruwa during plenary.
The affected members, Hon. Iheanocho Nwogu and Hon. Fyne Ahuama explained that they were expelled by their former Party due to antiparty activities adding that Governor Alex Otti has impressed them with his development trajectory and needed more support.
