APC Boss Praises Gov Nwifuru As Over 5,000 PDP Loyalists Defect To Party
The Ebonyi State chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha has attributed the total collapse of the opposition political parties in the state to the giant strides of Governor Nwifuru in less than a year in office.
Chief Emegha made this known while receiving over five thousand (5,000) members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), from Afikpo local government area at the party’s secretariat in Abakaliki.
Addressing the defectors and prominent among them was the PDP candidate for Afikpo North West state constituency in the 2023 general elections Chief Ogbonnaya Oko Enyim, the APC state Chairman, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha assured them that their noble intentions would be fully accommodated hence the Governor is a distinguished leader who rewards hard work diligently in the best interest of all.
The party Boss, Emegha who said that Governor Nwifuru’s resolute actions have transformed lives beyond imaginations charged them to be loyal and law-abiding because APC eschews violence and any act inimical to the fundamentals of societal peace and development.
“You are welcome to the ruling party where lives are transformed, where there is no segregation of any kind. Where governance needs growth, progress and development of the people. Where people are treated equally and not with disdain.
“My Boss and leader of the party, His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, Right Honourable (Dr) Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has done incredibly well in terms of giving the people an adorable life line worthy of mentioning anywhere in the world”.
“Some of you that doubted the governor are joining now because you have been convinced in his ability to bring the desired and deserved development to the people”.
“Today I charge you to be absolutely peaceful and loyal in your conduct because APC is not chaotic and nothing can make it deviate from its original agenda of setting precedence of good governance where lives could be more meaningful and liveable. Work in tandem with the Governor’s agenda”.
The Leader of the defectors and former chairman of the then Afikpo North Local Government Area, Chief Ogbonna Oko Enyim who denounced the PDP alongside his loyalists noted that the ruling APC under the indefatigable leadership of Governor Francis Nwifuru has shown dexterity in meeting the needs and aspirations of Ebonyi people irrespective of class.
The famous politician Chief Oko Enyim alongside other former government appointees declared unalloyed support towards achieving the lofty objectives of Governor Nwifuru’s administration and congratulated the party for winning the Ebonyi South Senatorial bye-election overwhelmingly stressing that they worked for the victory also.
He further lauded the state party chairman, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha whose peaceful disposition has helped in no small measures in propelling the resounding achievements of the party since he assumed the office in 2020.
