Ebonyi APC Boss Describes Governor’s Wife as An Advocate of the Downtrodden
The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi State Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha has described the first lady of the state, Chief Mrs. Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Ogbonna Nwifuru as a vanguard of peace and advocate of the downtrodden as she received an award as the Best Performing First Lady in Nigeria.
He further noted that Chief Mrs Nwifuru has used her pet project christened Better Health for Rural Women, Children and Internally Displaced Persons Foundation (BERWO), to champion an impressive and inclusive society where human life is sacred hence maltreatment of any sort is viewed as sacrilege.
The award of recognition came from the African Iconic Women Recognition Awards (AIWRA).
His goodwill message reads in parts;
