Ebonyi APC Boss, Emegha Salutes Ex Governor Egwu

As family, friends and well-wishers have continued to celebrate the 70th birthday of the first civilian governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Sen. Dr. Sam Ominyi Egwu on Thursday, the State APC Chairman, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha has also cheerfully congratulated him.

In a goodwill message tagged “Happy 70th Birthday, Igurube!”, Chief Emegha poured encomiums describing the celebrant as a leader who set the solid foundation for education in the state.

The message reads;

“Birthday celebrations offer great opportunities for individuals to reflect on activities in retrospect and also make projections.

“On this cheering note and on behalf of my family and as well the state working committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ebonyi State, I write to convey heartfelt congratulations to the first Executive Governor of our dear State, His Excellency Sen. Dr Sam Ominyi Egwu, CON on his 70th birthday anniversary today, the 20th of June, 2024.

“Your conviction in building human capital development as the nucleus of peace and progress of every society still rings bell in our hearts.

“From the establishment of the prestigious Ebonyi State University, award of scholarship to many that studied overseas to free education at both primary and secondary levels, your Excellency changed the people’s orientation and perception of life. This gesture of yours was basically the foundation of mass literacy of the people.

“Your Excellency, your legacies still speak volumes even close to two decades you left the seat of power. Your leadership style is one devoid of sycophancy and riotous exhibitions but lanced with truth, honesty and selfless service to humanity.

“As you mark this special occasion, may God continue to bless you with your heart intentions.
