Thousands of party bigwigs who joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi State have acknowledged the calculated efforts of Governor Nwifuru’s administration at providing the needed development for the people.
Testaments of the defectors were unanimous despite the fact that they spoke from different locations namely Ezza North and Ikwo local government areas
Mr Mgbada who is an American-trained cyber security specialist and son of one of the foremost founding fathers of Ebonyi State, late Barrister Owelle Felix Mgbada, also commended the governor for providing dividends of democracy without mortgaging the people’s future by acquiring loan facilities.
Popularly known as Don Laquino by his teeming admirers, Mgbada explained that Governor Francis Nwifuru is outstanding in project execution and human capital development.
He said “Nwifuru is building roads and the people without mortgaging the future of Ebonyi youths in debt. He is running an all-inclusive administration in which the life and well-being of every Ebonyi citizen across all political and ideological divides matters. There is therefore no justification for anyone, especially the entire youth constituency of Ebonyi State not to support selfless Builder Nwifuru who has been running a cost-effective administration in Ebonyi State.”
During another rally at Ikwo local government area, Mr James Alaka who led some defectors from the PDP and APGA appreciated Governor Nwifuru for his investment in infrastructural development and otherwise noting that the people now have total confidence in government policies and programs. He pledged to be a loyal party faithful with the burning desire to contribute to peace and unity of the state.
Receiving the defectors alongside his executive members, the state party chairman, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha spoke extensively on the Governor’s leadership blueprint which is people centered and the need for effective collaboration.
While presenting the symbol of the party to them and their teeming supporters, Chief Emegha noted that any attempt to sabotage the developmental efforts of Governor Nwifuru would be met with stiff resistance owing to the governor’s native intelligence and vast experience.
The two events had critical stakeholders which include the member representing Ezza South/Ikwo South Federal Constituency, Comrade Chinedu Ogah and the Speaker of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Ije Moses Odunwa represented by the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon Chinedu Onah among others in attendance.
