Ebonyi APC Hails Nwifuru, Others After Successful National Convention
Ebonyi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and other key party leaders for their roles in the successful conduct of the party’s recently concluded National Convention.
In a statement issued by the State Chairman, Hon. Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, the party lauded the governor’s leadership, describing his role as the state’s number one delegate as instrumental to Ebonyi’s impactful participation at the convention.
Emegha noted that Nwifuru’s calm disposition, strategic direction, and inclusive leadership style have strengthened party unity in the state and positioned Ebonyi as a model of discipline and cohesion within the APC at the national level.
The chairman also expressed appreciation to the Minister of Works, David Nweze Umahi, for his support, as well as former Senate President Anyim Pius Anyim, who served as Vice Chairman I of the 2026 APC National Convention Central Coordination Committee.
He further acknowledged the contributions of the Deputy Governor, Prince Patricia Obila, the Speaker of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Moses Oduwa, and other party stakeholders whose collective efforts contributed to the success of the convention.
Chief Emegha also commended members of the State Working Committee for their dedication and effective coordination before, during, and after the event, noting that their teamwork ensured a united and organized representation for the state.
He praised party faithful for their discipline and orderly conduct throughout the convention, stating that their comportment reflected the core values of unity, respect, and shared purpose that define the APC.
The chairman urged members to build on the success of the convention by sustaining unity and working collectively to advance the party’s ideals and promote development across Ebonyi State.
He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to strengthening its structures and delivering good governance to the people.
Recall, Ebonyi State secured two national positions, namely the National Deputy Chairman (South), Mr Benjamin Obi Nwoye, and the National Treasurer of the party, Chief Matthew Uguru.
