
Ebonyi Council Polls: APC Boss Confident of Victory, Thanks Gov Nwifuru, Voters
Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ebonyi State Chapter, chief Stanley Okoro Emegha has expressed confidence that his party would record total victory at the local government elections in the state.
Chief Emegha made this known after casting his ballot at Egbebu Central School 1 polling unit, Amaeke Ward in Edda Local Government area in the state.
“Asking me the fate of our party in this exercise is tantamount to inquiring about my complexion. You know there is no other political party in the state. Ebonyi is APC and as such we have already won already” he explained.
“Our dear Governor has done exceptionally well in every facet of the people’s existence. He also went further to bury other political parties by wooing their stalwarts into APC. Just last week, the likes of the former Senate President and Secretary to the government of Federation Chief Anyim Pius Anyim, Labour party governorship candidate, Sir Arch Edward Nkwuegu, Senator Obinna Ogba among others join APC because of the welcoming nature of His Excellency, the Governor.
He appreciated appreciate the massive turnout of electorates at his polling station despite the early hours downpour.
“It is the love the people have for our party and governor that made them to defy the rain to come out to vote. I am deeply grateful to the governor, the people, EBSIEC etc.
” In a special way, I want appreciate my Boss and Governor for all hsa been doing for the party and Ndi Ebonyi. We are just waiting for EBSIEC to announce the result.
