Ebonyi ranks 5th On Fiscal Transparency Table
…Analysts Commend Governor Nwifuru
Ebonyi State has ranked 5th out of 36 states of the federation in the recent States Fiscal Transparency League Table for the first quarter of 2024, as released by BudgIT.
This is contained in a statement Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru’s Special Assistant on New Media, Leo Ekene Oketa made available on his social media handle.
According to the publication, the accountability rating was based on several factors which cumulatively score each state accordingly.
He went further to state that the previous rating Ebonyi State took 8th position stressing that the leap to 5th position was proof of the conscientious effort by the State Government to raise the bar in transparency and prudence in the management of resources.
For public affairs analysts, the recent ranting remains an indicator that Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru would definitely take the people to their place of nirvana. The assertion also came with commendations and as well a call for the people to continue to support the human oriented administration in the state.
