The wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has poured encomium on Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru describing him as a He-for-She Governor who pays critical attention to women development tor a better society.
The Nigeria’s First lady, Sen Tinubu stated this during the grand finale of Ebonyi Women’s Day Celebration with the theme “Uplifting Women for Sustainable Development” at Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium on Friday.
Sen Oluremi Tinubu who on arrival commissioned the rehabilitated Chuba Okadigbo Airport Runway said the Governor has exceeded the 35% affirmative action by engaging the women in several positions such as Deputy Governor, Secretary to the State Government, and many others.
Similarly, the Nigeria’s First Lady who expressed quantum joy for visiting the state for the first time eulogized the wife of the Governor for her total commitment to building and equipping not only women and girls but taking care of all the less privileged persons.
“When they are looking for ladies in Nigeria come to Ebonyi. I now know why Ebonyi is called the salt of the nation. You add sweetness to the nation.
“The wife of the Governor has done so much to uplift the lives of the under privileged through free surgery, etc.
“All women traders in the market should bring their prices down. From what I saw today, Ebonyi state is the hope for this nation.

Ebonyi State Governor, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru appreciated the wife of the president for the visit despite her tight schedule stressing that women’s contributions to development is second to none.
While giving 130 women in business 1million naira each, Governor Nwifuru reiterated that his wife’s achievements beat imaginations. My wife has super passed my expectations.
Similarly, the Governor’s wife, chief Mrs Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Ogbonna Nwifuru commended Sen Oluremi Tinubu for bringing succour to the people with a promise to always stand by Mr President.
