Gov Nwifuru Commiserates with Ebonyi APC Boss Over Demise Of Sister
The Ebonyi State Governor, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has commiserated with the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state over the demise of his sister, Deaconess Adaeze Ogeri Ude Emegha.
Governor Nwifuru represented during the funeral rites at their country home in Ekoli Autonomous Community, Edda Council area of the State by his deputy, Princess Patricia Obila extolled the exemplary lifestyle of the deceased.
He urged the chief mourner and party chairman Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha and other family members to immortalise the legacies of the sexagenarian by holding onto her complying charitable deeds which she was known for.
In an emotional laden tribute, the APC chairman, Chief Emegha described his late sister as a source of inspiration and role model whose achievements stood tall stressing that in 2002 she established two foundations namely Centre for Human Protection and Development (CEPHROD) and Esther Ude Emegha Foundation (ESUDE) just to bring succour to the downtrodden.
Chief Emegha noted that despite life uncertainties, the deceased was a devoted christian whose all round investments earned her the church title “Deaconess” in 2012. He emphasized that his late sister used her foundations to uplift the lives of many in the areas such as health, education, agriculture, poverty alleviation etc.
He further narrated that in collaboration with development partners, the late sexagenarian renovated and equipped so many facilities which include; Presbyterian Joint Hospital, Ekoli Edda, Maternal and Child Healthcare Centre, Nguzu Edda, Amuro Ibere Health Centre Ikwuano Umuahia to mention but a few.
He explained that late Ogeri Ude as a first grade merchant who ventured into quality wears, she visited countries like the United Arab Emirates, Britain and America.
Deaconess Adaeze Ogeri Ude whose demise occured at 61year old was born on 24th January, 1963 and spent most of her earthly sojourn in Umuahia, the Abia State Capital.
