Int’l Celebration: APC Boss Felicitates Ebonyi Women

The Chairman All Progressives Congress APC, Ebonyi State Chapter, Hon Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha has joined other well meaning leaders in Felicitating the women of the state as they joined their counterparts to mark the 2024 edition of International Women’s Day.

In a statement personally signed by the state APC helmsman, Emegha, reminded the women their pivotal roles building and sustaining the family front and as well nation building.

The statement reads thus;

“To say that women are the spine of every family and the society at large is not only a statement of truth but an incontrovertible fact. The place of these special creatures in procreation and nurturing the general wellbeing of humans cannot also be overemphasized”.

“With this insight, the celebration of International Women’s Day becomes imperative and non negotiable as it draws massive attention to the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women and as well, creates opportunity for stakeholders to fashion out workable solutions to issues standing as impediments in their path of greatness”.

“As this year’s global celebration beams its light on the theme “Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress” it is worths acknowledging the fact that Ebonyi State government under the indefatigable leadership of the Governor, His Excellency, Right Honourable (Dr) Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has from inception queued into the project”.

“Apart from political appointments, Ebonyi women and girls have recorded tremendous success in various fronts courtesy of arrays of windows created by the present administration to spur their growth and advancement. Moreso, the office of Her Excellency and First lady, Chief Mrs Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Ogbonna Nwifuru champions the cause of women’s betterment on a daily basis hence it is in the first line charge of government activities”.

“Therefore, as Ebonyi joins the global community to commemorate the 2024 edition of the commendable event, I wish to remind our women to effectively utilise several untapped opportunities created by the present administration to appropriately invest in themselves for more accelerated progress in their chosen careers”.

“More importantly, Ebonyi women should also take a queue from our beautiful first lady and mother general, Chief Mrs Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Ogbonna Nwifuru to be truly virtuous by being submissive to their husbands and prioritizing the family front for a better and healthier society”.
