Local Government Chairmen Take Oath of Office in Ebonyi State

Ebonyi State Governor, Chief Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has sworn in the 13 local government chairmen and their vice into office to serve for a period of two years.
During the swearing-in ceremony at the Christian Ecumenical Centre in Abakaliki, Governor Nwifuru charged them to build infrastructure and also take care of the stakeholders including the elderly, women and youths.
10 out of the 13 council Chairmen will be completing their second tenure in office, 2 were dropped while one, Dr Obinna Onwe of Ishielu local government area was also inaugurated to join the state executive council as a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Project Development and state ombudsman. .

The Vice Chairmen were all beautiful , elegant and amazing women.
While the local Government Advisory Committee made up of 13 persons was inaugurated, Mr Darlington Mbam also took oath of office and as a permanent secretary in the state
This change of leadership baton in the council areas is in tandem with every extant laws as it came exactly at expiration of the tenures of the former council chairmen. This affirms that the will of governance never stopped grinding in Ebonyi State even for a second little wonder development has skyrocketed in recent times.
Political pundits say that the present administration in the State under the able leadership of Governor, His Excellency, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru by today’s ceremony has set another precedence as the most law abiding and pragmatic leader in present day Nigeria.
