Emegha Applauds Governor Nwifuru as APC Conducts Credible Local Government Congress Statewide
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi State has successfully concluded its Local Government Congress across the 13 council areas, recording what party leaders described as a peaceful, transparent, and credible exercise.
State Chairman of the party, Hon. Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, acknowledged the role of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru in fostering unity and strengthening internal democracy within the party. He noted that the Governor’s inclusive leadership style and commitment to stability created a conducive atmosphere for the smooth conduct of the congress throughout the state.
He also commended the National Delegation of the party for its professionalism, impartial supervision, and adherence to due process, stating that their oversight reinforced confidence in the party’s democratic structures.
Appreciation was extended to members of the State Working Committee, local government stakeholders, party leaders, and faithful whose coordinated efforts and sacrifices contributed to the orderly conduct of the exercise. The party leadership emphasized that their loyalty and sense of responsibility remain central to its continued strength and cohesion.
The newly elected Local Government Executives were congratulated on their emergence and reminded of their responsibility to deepen grassroots mobilization, promote unity, and uphold the ideals of the APC at the council level. They were also urged to demonstrate magnanimity in victory and work toward consolidating the party’s influence across the state.
The party reaffirmed its commitment to unity and collective progress, expressing optimism about building a stronger and more formidable APC in Ebonyi State.
