LP Lawmaker Joins APC in Ebonyi State
…..Party Chairman Speaks on Equal Right
The lawmaker representing Onicha East Constituency in the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Hon Celestine Ifeanyi Ogba has officially defected the labour Party (LP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Hon. Ogba who was received by the state party chairman, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha in his office noted that his decision was informed due to the fact that he was earlier a member of APC before joining the LP where he won the 2023 election to become a state legislator.
While joining with his loyalists Hon Ogba appreciated Chief Emegha for being instrumental to his return and promised to do those things that can scale up developmental indices in the state.
The party Boss, Chief Emegha who assured the defectors of equal rights as members urged them to work in line with the lay down rules of party with lossing sight of the people’s charter of needs blueprint of the governor, RT Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru in the interest of peace and development.
