The Ebonyi State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, has congratulated the Minister of Works, Senator Engr. David Nweze Umahi, CON, on his 63rd birthday, describing him as a visionary leader whose contributions to national development remain remarkable.

Chief Emegha, in a birthday message issued on behalf of the party’s executive committee, leaders, stakeholders and members in the state, commended Umahi’s leadership qualities, patriotism and commitment to public service.

He recalled Umahi’s achievements as Governor of Ebonyi State, noting that he laid a strong foundation for transformation and economic growth during his administration.

The APC chairman also praised the Minister’s performance in the Federal Ministry of Works, particularly his efforts towards improving road infrastructure across the country.

According to him, major projects including the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the Abakaliki–Enugu–Onitsha Road, Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos, Lokoja–Benin Road and other interventions have shown Umahi’s commitment to enhancing connectivity and national development.

Emegha further appreciated Umahi’s continued support for the Ebonyi State Government under Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, saying his loyalty and dedication have contributed to unity and confidence among the people.

He prayed God to grant the former governor and current minister sound health, wisdom, strength and more years of impactful service to the nation.

“May your new age bring greater accomplishments, divine protection and fulfilment as you continue to serve humanity with distinction,” Emegha stated.

He described Umahi as “Akubaraoha” and wished him a happy 63rd birthday on behalf of the APC family in Ebonyi State.
