The All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship candidate for Ezza South Local Government Area, Hon. Chinedu Mkpuma, has pledged to provide responsive and people-oriented leadership by taking Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru’s People’s Charter of Needs to the grassroots if elected.

Mkpuma made the commitment on Saturday at Onueke, Ezza South LGA, during the Ebonyi State local government and councillorship elections.

The APC candidate expressed satisfaction with the turnout of voters at his polling centre, describing the development as a strong indication of the people’s support for his candidacy.

“I’m really happy, especially with the turnout of people who came out to vote for me. I’m highly excited,” he said.

Mkpuma thanked Governor Nwifuru, whom he described as the leader of the APC in the state, as well as the people of Ezza South for their support and confidence in his political journey.

He assured the electorate that he would justify their confidence if elected, promising to make the development and welfare of the people the priority of his administration.
