Former Ogun State Television (OGTV) broadcaster, Kitan Oyesiku, has been found dead in her residence in Owode-Egba, Ogun State, in an incident now under police investigation.
The Ogun State Police Command said officers discovered signs of forced entry and disturbance at the property after receiving a distress report from residents.
Police spokesperson, CSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, disclosed that Oyesiku’s security guard was also found dead at the premises, while her vehicle was reportedly missing.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Bode Ojajuni, has ordered a thorough investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the deaths and recover the missing vehicle.
The incident has sparked grief within the media community, with police assuring residents that efforts are underway to bring those responsible to justice.
