The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi State, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, has congratulated the state First Lady, Chief Mrs Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Nwifuru, on her birthday.
In a congratulatory message, Emegha described the First Lady as a woman of compassion and uncommon commitment to humanity.
He said Mrs Nwifuru had distinguished herself through interventions aimed at improving the lives of women, children and vulnerable persons across the state.
He commended her humanitarian activities through the Better Health for Rural Women, Children and Internally Displaced Persons (BERWO) Foundation.
According to him, the foundation’s interventions in healthcare, women and youth empowerment, social protection and advocacy have brought relief and hope to many families.
Emegha also applauded Mrs Nwifuru for her advocacy against gender-based violence, human trafficking and other societal challenges.
He said her support for Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru had complemented the administration’s People’s Charter of Needs and strengthened its efforts to improve the welfare of the people.
The APC chairman, on behalf of the party’s State Executive Committee and members, prayed God to grant the First Lady good health, wisdom and renewed strength.
He described her as “Nneoha, the Black Diamond,” and wished her many more years of impactful service to Ebonyi State and humanity.
