Democracy: We Have Made Great Progress Says Ebonyi APC
As Nigerians celebrate 26 years of uninterrupted democracy, the Ebonyi State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) says a lot has been achieved in different fronts.
The chairman of the ruling party in Ebonyi, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha made the remarks while congratulating president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and indeed all Nigerians on the 26th anniversary of unbroken Democracy in the country.
He noted that the people are not only celebrating freedom, but also the inspiring leadership shown by President Tinubu and Governor Nwifuru, who have brought real and positive changes to the land, even in the face of global and local challenges.
Emphasizing that Governor Nwifuru has made Ebonyi a model of development and good governance, the APC boss reaffirmed his commitment and loyalty to promoting the ideals of democracy through the Renewed Hope Agenda and the People’s Charter of Needs policy, as championed by both the federal and state governments.
The message, which he signed personally, contains the following excerpts:
“Hurrah! It’s the 26th anniversary of uninterrupted democracy in Nigeria, and we have made great progress.
Therefore, on behalf of the leadership and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi State, I warmly congratulate the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and our dear Executive Governor, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, on the celebration of Nigeria’s Democracy Day.
As we mark 26 years of unbroken democracy, we not only celebrate freedom but also the inspiring leadership shown by both of you in just two years in office.
Mr. President, your strong commitment to democracy, bold economic reforms, and the Renewed Hope Agenda continue to give Nigerians faith in a brighter future, even in the face of global and local challenges.
To our dear Governor, Prince Nwifuru, we are proud of the progress made under your leadership. In a short time, your administration has brought real change, making Ebonyi a model of development and good governance.
As Chairman of our great party in Ebonyi State, I assure you of the full support of our members. We remain loyal and committed to promoting the ideals of democracy through your People’s Charter of Needs policy.
On this special occasion, let us all reflect on the values of unity, justice, and accountability. May we continue to work together as one people with a shared destiny.
