The All Progressives Congress in Ebonyi State has expressed profound gratitude to Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for his leadership and commitment to democratic principles, which ensured the successful conduct of the party’s National Assembly primary elections in the state.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by the State Chairman, Hon. Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, the party described Governor Nwifuru’s leadership as exemplary, noting that his peaceful disposition and support created the enabling environment for a credible, transparent, and peaceful exercise.
The party also commended key stakeholders, including the Minister of Works, David Umahi, and former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Anyim Pius Anyim, alongside other party members across the state, for their resilience, sacrifices and unwavering loyalty throughout the primary process.
APC equally congratulated its victorious senatorial candidates: Onyekachi Nwebonyi for Ebonyi North, Ken Eze for Ebonyi Central, and Anthony Okorie Ani for Ebonyi South.
For the House of Representatives, the party extended best wishes to Igariwey Iduma Enwo (Afikpo/Edda), Chinedu Ogah (Ezza South/Ikwo), Emmanuel Uguru (Abakaliki/Izzi), Eze Nwachukwu Eze (Ebonyi/Ohaukwu), Kama Nkemkanma (Ohanivo), and Joseph Nwobasi (Ezza North/Ishielu).
The party said the emergence of the candidates shows the confidence members have in their capacity to serve and urged all party faithful to remain committed as the party prepares for victory in the forthcoming general elections.
