Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has celebrated his wife, Chief Mrs Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Nwifuru, on her birthday, describing her as his “pillar of strength” and an invaluable treasure to him and the family.
The governor, in a heartfelt birthday message, expressed gratitude to God for blessing him and their children with a wife and mother whose strength, humility and commitment have remained a source of inspiration.
Gov. Nwifuru, while reflecting on their journey together, said his wife had remained steadfast from their modest beginnings to the corridors of political leadership, noting that she had continued to stand by him through the various stages of life.
He said her value could not be measured by political office, material possessions or public recognition, stressing that having someone who understands one’s struggles and remains supportive through life’s transitions is one of life’s greatest treasures.
“Words, no matter how beautifully arranged, cannot adequately capture what you mean to me, our family and the journey we have shared together,” the governor said.
He described Mrs Nwifuru as his companion, confidante and precious jewel, while appreciating her unwavering commitment to the family.
The governor prayed to Almighty God to continue to preserve and strengthen his wife, granting her many more years of good health, peace, happiness and fulfilment.
He wished her a happy birthday and reaffirmed his love and appreciation for her contributions to the family and their shared journey.
Mrs Nwifuru is widely recognised for her role as the wife of the Ebonyi State governor and her involvement in initiatives focused on women, children and vulnerable members of society.
