The President of Globe Legislators International, Rt. Hon. Sam I. Onuigbo, has called on members and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to intensify efforts toward securing the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
Onuigbo made the call on Friday, during a stakeholders’ engagement meeting to formally flag off the campaign for President Tinubu’s second term at his country home, Odozi Obodo Hills, Obuohia Obi-Ibere, Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State.
Onuigbo urged APC stakeholders to intensify efforts toward President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027, stressing the need to consolidate the administration’s Renewed Hope reforms.
He highlighted increased FAAC allocations, improved crude oil production and refining capacity, rising foreign reserves, foreign investments, NELFUND funding, economic diversification and foreign exchange reforms as key achievements of the administration.
He also cited the South-East Development Commission, infrastructure projects, airport expansion, proposed Enugu-Port Harcourt rail line, federal road reconstruction and the restoration of management courses at Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike.
Onuigbo maintained that Tinubu deserved a second term to consolidate his achievements, urging party stakeholders to prioritise the President’s re-election over personal political ambitions.
He thanked members for their support during his senatorial campaign and expressed optimism that better opportunities lay ahead for them and the APC.
